Thirty minutes with a Human Capital lead. Not a screening. We talk about what draws you to Wouessi, not whether you can deliver. Skills can be taught; beliefs cannot. We check belief alignment first.

Meet the Department

Sixty minutes with two practitioners from the team you would join. They show you a real mandate they shipped. You ask the unfiltered questions. We answer.

The Craft Day

A short paid take-home, two to four hours of your time, three-hundred-dollar honorarium, tied to the kind of mandate you would actually run. Not a LeetCode trap. Not free spec work. Real work, real review, the result stays with you.

The Founder Sit

Forty-five minutes with Rod, our founder. Not a final test. A mutual decision point. He walks you through the runway, the risks, the next twelve months. You ask him anything.

Shadow a Standup

Optional, on your initiative. Spend a half-day shadowing a live Wouessi delivery standup. See how decisions actually get made before you sign. Candidates who take this step stay longer.

The Mutual Decision

Within ten business days of the Founder Sit, an offer or a clean no with the reasons. You have ten business days to accept. Reference calls happen inside your decision window, not before, so no one is pressured for someone who is not ready to say yes.

Compensation and benefits

We pay senior rates because we hire senior people. Compensation is benchmarked against Toronto and Arlington tech-firm bands, not big-four consultancy bands. Parental leave above statutory minimums in both countries. Real mental-health days. No on-call beyond rota. Bilingual professional development covered. Equity in the parent company for senior contributors after one year.
